What do I need to do to get Lightbox to work consistently across different browsers?

I am using Lightbox with the Gallery Assist module and it works fine for me on Firefox (version 3.5.4 on a Mac), but when I attempt to view the gallery on Safari (ver. 4.0.3) the Lightboxes do not show up and a small box appears with an image of a camera crossed out.

The lightbox was working before on other browsers, but apparently I've done something to mess it up.

My test site is: http://www.pastorsstudy.com/testsite

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm not familiar with the Gallery Assist module, but I know that if you try to use the JQuery Update Module with Lightbox you'll get these results. Perhaps its a version of JQuery that Gallery Assist is using that's causing a conflict?

I just finished up a project and I didn't have any problems with Lightbox. If you are getting the "small box with an image of a camera" it means your image path is broken. Lightbox can't find the larger image. Perhaps it's the Gallery assist module, but honestly I have never used that module before. Good luck

Ishmael,

Thanks for your insight. I dove into the imagecache directories and found that somehow many of the images were indeed deleted. I don't quite know how that happened, but at least I stumbled across it.

When I re-uploaded the images, the path was re-established and Lightbox worked again. Thanks for your insight!

What threw me off was that Lightbox worked in Firefox, but not in Safari.
