Anyone want lunch?
Is there someone really knowledgeable about Drupal out there who would be willing to be bought lunch by our organization in return for answering a few basic questions about Drupal and its use in an enterprise environment?

Depends on what's for lunch...
Seriously, though, 'knowledgeable about Drupal' has a couple of different vectors, several examples would be as a developer of new functionality and another as a site admin/maintainer using lots of contrib modules. There is some overlap there, but each of these areas has a significant body of somewhat distinct knowledge/experience.
Anyhow, I may be interested in this, on my "really knowledgeable" end, I'm CTO of www.disgover.com, a Drupal-based site. At latest count, we've written at least 25 of our own modules in addition to using lotsa contrib modules.
If you can give me some additional details (organization, location/date/time, a little heads up on some of the focus of the questions), I may be available for this.
Possibly as well
As above, "really knowledgeable about Drupal" is something that could be interpreted a number of different ways. I've got about 4 1/2 years of Drupal experience, use it on my own personal site www.cheek.com, worked on it for www.cnngo.com and www.timesys.com, and now am the Drupal Architect for the US Dept of Education. I am really knowledgeable about a certain few aspects of Drupal, but that's as far as I would go.
On the plus side, I'm not too picky as to what I eat. On the minus side, I've got a pretty heavy schedule so fitting in lunch might be tricky. Where (part of town, not restaurant)? I'm in SW DC.
Interesting offer :) Have
Interesting offer :) Have never seen such one, before. Heh.
kahunacohen, you don't have to buy lunch, this is open-source community. You can just ask questions and people will try to answer them. That's what this online group is for, anyway.

I guess a lot of people are hungry!!
When were you interested in having this lunch? Depending on what your organization is there will be a Drupal booth at Goscon Thursday and will have 4 in the know people with an understanding of Drupal. This is an interesting request because usually this is the job of sales reps pestering you to buy their software. I am definitely willing to be of help. My background is as a Department of Defense Developer with Oracle and Branched out on my own over a year ago.. within that time period I started launching Drupal based Social Blogs. I have launched many Drupal initatives over 20 sites in the past year alone.
If you are looking for avery custom initiative which is usually the case with entreprise site it sounds like robatsu is your man. If he is unavailable I can help.

Did you say free lunch? :-)
Then I am in ...
Seriously though, Drupal with enterprise can be a very loaded question. We implemented two large multi-site with Drupal, one with the largest home-improvement franchise in the US along with LDAP; the other is with CapGemini, Publicis Groupe in France for 20 theme-parks + 80% of all French Alps skiing-resort with Oracle backend, with secure financial payment processing (ATOS), POS and online ticketing systems.
So depending on the depth of your question, lunch may not be enough time ...
