Enable diff.module for wiki page

the short story is that the current menu system makes this hard to do in a pretty way. the d6 menu system will make this easy.

Yeah it's kind of a pain to use the wiki content type right now without the ability to see revisions. The other main thing missing is the inability to comment on the pages (a discussion tab would be even better).

any editor can enable comments for any wiki page.

as mentioned before, the diff issue is a limitation of the menu system and has been fixed for D6. so a fix is on the way if we can ever freeze the code :).

Are any of the configured roles on g.d.o allowed to view and/or manage revisions? Even without diff.module that would be a great help on wiki pages, IMO.

...but what was the issue? I only ask because I have been using Diff with Wikitools and Create Revision setting, and it seems to be working well with Drupal 5.x (I also allow view/revert revisions).

I develop and work with http://oddmuse.org wiki engine (descended from original "Ward's Wiki" wiki engine), and moinmoin, both of which of course allow reverting revisions by default, and include diff by defualt.

Anyway, I only ask because I am curious to learn about what the menu issue was (and how it was fixed in D6) for my own education about Drupal inner-workings. And, because I thought it was working fine in D5 on the sites I've implemented it on

Diff.module is working well for our sites on Drupal 5.x. I'd love to be able to use it on groups.drupal.org.

At the very least, can groups.drupal.org have "view revisions" turned on like drupal.org does? It would make pages like the slogan proposal much easier to follow.
