I am wondering if there are any Drupal users in Wisconsin that work in k12 education? The reason I am asking is if there is the Brainstorm K12 technology conference is coming up at the end of February, which would be a good time to try to get one of the breakout sessions or discussion groups there to focus on Drupal.

The conf in the Dells?
I've never heard of this one, but I'm interested. My wife, as well as both her parents & her sister, a bunch of our friends, etc., etc. are directly involved in education. From k-12 and college too. So by default, I too am working in k12 education.
This one: http://www.onalaska.k12.wi.us/brainstorm/ ? Looks like it's in Wisco Dells ... nice.
Keep me posted on your plans.
Cheers,

yep
Yeah, their website is not the best but the conference is good. They do a good job of keeping it for techs instead of teachers, so everythign there is technology related. It is also at the Kalahari, which is nice. I put in a request to do a breakout session that would be an introduction to Drupal and also show how we have used Drupal for our school district. I'll post here if it is accepted.
nope
Looks like I won't be doing the session on Drupal. Someone else is doing a session on open source CMS's in general so I'm guessing they choose that over one just on Drupal... Anyways just thought I'd let you know.
