This was a site that I did for free for a church plant in Tulsa. They gave me a jpg of what they wanted the site to look like and we went from there. Some of the features of the site include:
1. Podcast (Views, FileField Podcast, CCK)
2. Embedded media from YouTube and Vimeo (Embed Module)
3. Easy content editing (WYSIWYG and FCKEditor)
4. Staff Page (CCK and Views)
5. Contact Forms (Webform)

Podcast Module

I'm working on upgrading a site (current pure HTML/FTP/etc) for a ministry that will use Drupal. One of the key interests is a Podcast capability with direct feed to iTunes.

I've experimented with the iTunes module (doesn't seem to work correctly) and two of the podcast modules.

I'm wondering if anyone has a great suggestion for a combination to make this work that:

  1. Automates updates of podcast for the content creator
  2. Does not label with the ID3 with "Song Title:", "Album:" etc. but does automate entry of "Title:", "Speaker:", "Date:", "Text:", etc.
  3. Allows the easy addition of a download for PDF of notes.
  4. Tracks the downloads and plays of each podcast.
  5. Allows for categorization of weekly teachings into themes (and occasional miscellaneous teachings under that heading)
  6. Allows for a category level image to go with the teachings that shows on the main category page as well as the page for each teaching
  7. Displays the player on the teaching page, as well as a set of players on each category page for each teaching in that category
  8. Well formed iTunes feed

That's a list of some stuff I've run into right out of the shoot... may have more but that's a good start. Any ideas of a combo of modules that would enable such? My test account is all filled up with modules I've tested... pant pant pant...

We use the audio module in combination with the iTunes module and Views for our podcast; so far, it does a great job. Check it out http://www.capitalcitychurchdc.org/new-ccc/podcast
