Ventura county Drupal folks,
It seems like this group isn't super active right now, but I've been in email conversation with Christefano about organizing a meetup sometime this fall. I live in the Ojai Valley (Miramonte) and have a public space here where I could host a meeting with wifi and couches in November and December. Any concerns if we go ahead and choose a date and then post it here? I've reached out to Daniel McDermott (generalconsensus) by email, but haven't heard back yet.

Hi,
The community may not be terribly active in Ventura, but I there is Drupal activity in many different locations around the county. Probably the best approach to trying to detect a pulse is to just post a date that works for you & listen to the volume of squeals you get about 'choosing the wrong date'. While I live in Monrovia (near Pasadena), I am interested in the Drupal community in Ventura because I have family in the area (Ventura/Saticoy). Also, you probably can pull people to a Ventura meetup who are located in nearby areas like Thousand Oaks, San Fernando Valley, or even West LA.
