2/19 Richard Stallman, founder of the GNU project, will deliver a lecture titled “Copyright vs. Community in the Age of Computer Networks,” at 1 p.m., Lower Lounge, William Pitt Union, 3959 Fifth Ave., Oakland. This event is sponsored by Pitt's Department of Computer Science. For more information, visit www.cs.pitt.edu/events/talks/2104/stallman.richard.19feb2010.php (at the time of this writing, this link is broken).

This is a great opportunity to hear and meet the founder of the GNU project - note that all Drupal code is licensed under the GNU Public License (GPL). Hope to see you there!

(I'm not really the organizer of the talk - I'm just his host during his stay in Pittsburgh. But perhaps we can meet up separately for an Ethiopian or Thai dinner the night before - I'll post more details if/when I have them)
