Ad Hoc Meetup Friday, July 27th - Bertucci's at Alewife station
I realize you had your last meet up just a few weeks ago, but I happen to be in town (well, Norwood, anyway) on some Drupal related business, and was wondering if folks were interested in getting together for a few drinks / dinner / chat this Friday evening?
Suggestions on location (a casual pub that isn't too loud and can fit a variable number of people) and how to get there from Norwood are appreciated.
Update: Bertucci's at Alewife station in Cambridge sounds like a good spot, as Barry suggests. Let's lock on that. 7:30pm OK with folks?

I suggest the Bertucci's at Alewife station in Cambridge. It is easy to reach by T and car and has free parking and can accomodate a crowd.

Oops, forgot directions for Boris. The easy (not fastest) way from Norwood: I-95 North to Route 2 East (exit 29). Go to the end of the highway (Rt 2 continues as a surface road). At the end, stay right at the fork. Alewife T station will be obviously visible off to your right. At the 1st light that allows you to make a 90-degree right turn, do so; this will be just past the Alewife station building. Bertucci's is on the right side of the building, now visible.
To park, continue to the first light and turn LEFT. Drive about half a block and turn left again into a parking lot. You are now across the street from Alewife, but this is the Bertuccis parking lot.
I would offer to collect RSVPs but am not yet sure I can make it.

Boris updated his original post to confirm Bertucci's at Alewife at 7:30 pm tonight. I'll be there (with my fiancee). I'll call to make a reservation for however many people confirm they are coming by 5 pm plus a few extra spots.

You didn't miss much. Or rather, only the bits about how we plan to...RULE THE WORLD :P
Seriously, it was fun to catch up with where folks are at, and some hardcore thinking about where Drupal is heading, Drupal products, more work for everyone, and so on. I did my usual hand waving, folks humoured me, and we enjoyed the Bertucci's. I may be coming to Boston on occasion again, maybe we'll do an actual session.
