A modest proposal:

How would the owner of drupalcamp.org feel about setting it up with the Conference Organizing Install Profile (http://drupal.org/project/cod) ?

I am sure he would be happy to. I will contact nonecknoel (who just left my house this morning for Vancouver)

we might need to work out hosting for it, and i can point drupal-camp.org to it as well.

i have the domain and would love to point it to a place that is useful. just send me the dns servers and i'll make sure the domain is paid... ;)
