DrupalCON and Newspapers on Drupal
DrupalCON Boston promises to be the biggest and (of course) the best DrupalCON ever. How do I know? Well, I'm helping organize part of the "Site Building" track of the conference. I'm also organizing and hosting the first ever News Industry meetup. Do you plan to attend?
There will also be a first-ever Job Fair at this DrupalCON. Sponsoring organizations can come recruit talent at the Job Fair.
The following events and topics are designed with news professionals in mind:
-- Monday, March 3rd features the first-ever Drupal job fair, so your organization can come and recruit Drupal developers and trainers.
-- Monday will also feature a News Industry meetup, which I am hosting. This is the perfect chance to connect with professionals who are working with Drupal to meet the same business needs.
-- The conference "Site Building" track is designed to help those new to Drupal learn how to build, host, scale and manage their Drupal sites, with a special emphasis on integrating Drupal with external systems.
There will be four "tracks" at the conference, dedicated to the following topics:
-- Marketing and business
-- Design and user experience
-- Site building
-- Community and core
Attendance is $195 per person and covers all 4 days.
For vendors, there are sponsorships available:

If you have any questions regarding the events or sponsorship opportunities, drop me a note.

News Industry meetup
Sounds like a great initiative!
Can you provide more details on the meetup? Will there be organized content? How long would it be?
Define "organized"
The current plan is simply to set aside 3 hours in a meeting area with food. We do not have formal spaces for seminars or work sessions. Simply getting like-minded people together should be surprisingly effective.
However, nothing is set in stone, and volunteer help might make the meetup more substantial.
