I second that notion
Maybe we should post a poll to see when everyone wants to get together. It looks like that's what the group has done in the past. Let's use this group to coordinate and try to be consistent. Anyone else wanna get together?

Sure. I'm game. But I have very little to contribute. I would basically be there to leech off everyone else. :)
I'm in school in Salt Lake. Evenings or Saturdays are best for me. Other than the week of March 28th (my anniversary) I'm good any time.
I'm game anytime
I have a number of Drupal projects I need to push off to someone in Utah
Great idea, Andrew. I'll
Great idea, Andrew. I'll let you take care of that. ;-) I know that Andrew and I are in Layton, but are willing to drive to Salt Lake to find a more centralized meeting place.
Count me in
I would love to be there- I'll keep an eye out for the poll.

I wouldn't mind meeting on a Saturday or Sunday morning once a month. I work full-time with school at nights, so it is too hard for me to meet during the week.
Yes!
I'd love to meet up with people in Utah. Let's see a poll about when/where.
Count me in ...
I would love to see some activity in the state. Meetings would be a good way to learn from one an other and to network.

In Provo
I'm in Provo -- but'd love to carpool with someone north to meet up with the rest of you.

Okay, I've given everyone a couple weeks to respond. So how about Saturday morning, maybe February 9th, 10:00 am?
Looks like we have 3 interested down south, 3 central, and 3 up north. So I guess somewhere in SLC would make sense.
Now let's take suggestions on places to meet... I'm new to UT, so I've got nothing. Any ideas?
10am Feb 9th works for me
Place anyone? Library?
On one of the polls I
On one of the polls I commented on a local coffee shop around 1500 S and State Street in SLC. Free Wireless Internet, plus a dedicated area for people on laptops. The only problem in the dedicated area is it has restaurant-style booths, so I don't know if it would be a prime place for a gathering of 9. I like to support the local places, so I recommend that. However, the library would be a good alternative for me.
The college that I work for
The college that I work for has given me permission to host the meet-up. It's Davis Applied Technology College up in Kaysville, UT. I am guessing that it would be a longer drive for some, but we have a sweet set-up with a 100 Mbit Internet connection. We could even use our cafeteria and have a pot-luck brunch type of thing. Up to the group really. Maybe we should create another poll with the different locations and get some feedback that way. Just wanted to offer the facilities that I work at.

Forgot to mention that they have a projector and a nice meeting room as well. Not trying to bribe anyone, promise. :)

Sounds like a great place
Sounds like a great place for the hosting. Could be a little too far for the southern people though, an hour drive maybe? But, I agree lets set up a poll of the places, and leave it as checkboxes so people can check ALL the places they would be willing to go to. I say we wait for at least a day or two to see if we get any more suggestions on a place.
I could bring a bunch up from Utah County
I could bring a bunch up from Utah County... and having the meeting on a Saturday would take the pain out of the drive.
Sounds like fun!
