workshops are very pricy

Drupal is a great CMS but the basic cost of module development is £800. For an CMS that is supposedly open source thats a bit pricey. If you 'google' module developement you will find pelnty of tutorials + even read one chapter on a book and download the code for it. Spend an hour reading and understanding the process will easily be better than £800. But of course learning is more efficient with a collection of people but in these recession times £800 is a lot of dosh that companies can ill afford.
