It's that time again! The MD Drupal meetup is occurring as usual on the 4th Wednesday of the month at PMG's offices in Columbia.
The meetup starts around 7PM and presentations will begin at 7:30. If you're interest in presenting for longer than 15 minutes, please contact Ron Williams (ron@lithicmedia.com or 410-726-7869) to reserve time, otherwise simply show up and we'll give you a 15 minute slot.
Location Details:
MD Meetup at PMG
6940 Columbia Gateway Drive (right off of 95 on 175 West)
Suite 220
Columbia, MD 21046
Call if you have any problems: 410 290 0667
A couple of quick tips when coming to PMG for the meetup:
- There is a big sign that marks the building for PMG. It reads "The Woodlands Two."
- The last door on the right will be open.
- We are on the second floor. The best way to get up to the second floor is through the stairs on the right as you walk in. If you can not use
the stairs please call the office (410 290 0667) and someone will come down with a keycard for the elevator. - Once you get upstairs, PMG will be the office right past the elevators.
- There will be signs pointing the way!
If any of you have any problems whatsoever, just call the office or Sean's mobile at 202-288-9736.

CCK and Views definition repository?
I was curious about juggling content type and Views definitions. As in, I define these all the time for rather standard objects. I'd love to open this up for discussion a bit, but we can also bounce ideas in a forum on d.o if anyone has a suggested place for that.
So, if I have a type for job postings, or product inventory, or tech support tickets... could there be a nice online repository that houses many generic versions of these types? Could such a thing list any required supporting modules and link to supporting Views?
Just some thoughts, since creating content types and their views can be a real time drain. Moreover, if someone else has already done a great job, perhaps even thought of fields that I might have neglected, all the better.
Check out features?
Hi Chad,
I like your idea, but I would recommend the features module for rolling these in packages. I like the idea of an online repository, but it might get really messy with how many different configurations that could be built.
