I'd be willing to step up and be treasurer again this year, but I can't make this meeting either. Anything after the 25th works for me. I'm in Calgary for a wedding until the 24th.

Hi Hyperzahranism,

Our local Drupal meetups are free events hosted by a variety of people working in Drupal throughout Montreal. They're a great place for people to come and learn about Drupal for the first time. Typically we spend our time discussing new developments in Drupal or related technologies.

This week's meet up is a bit different in that we're using it to plan Drupalcamp Montreal 2010, a 2 day presentation event to be held in October. Our meetup won't be following the normal format but anyone is welcome to attend--we're looking for people to contribute and help as we push hard to put the camp together over the next two months.

Great job on getting the ball moving. Altough, IMHO, it was a poor decision to hold this planning meeting during DrupalCon CPH.

Eleven people showed up! It was not a poor decision. We needed to get the ball rolling with McGill as soon as possible.

Many thanks to all who came out.

I agree with xmacinfo--things move slowly at universities--if we hadn't moved on sorting at least a few things out it would have impacted our ability to get a facility. See you folks next week.
