JP Licks Drupal Dojo meet up?

Hi Heather,

Last night was the first I heard of the JP Licks Dojo, and I don't know of any future plans. The Link to Previous Sessions doesn't offer
an upcoming schedule. The cafe format is a good idea if not focused on Developers issues.

I think there was previous interest in a Boston Drupal Dojo or working group as described here... http://groups.drupal.org/node/64153

Not sure if that moved beyond discussion, but I'd certainly be game to meet up next week. Especially if they're serving Funyuns in Vanilla Ice Cream.

I think the theme was supposed to be Git, is that correct? I will contact Sam (in charge of migration) and see if he has any materials for us. I think we could watch the session video too?

Changed the suggested date to Wednesday actually! OK, this is for selfish reasons, it's my birthday that night, and I'm hell bent on having Ice Cream and Drupal.

I would definitely come to a JP event on git. I'd be especially interested in strategies for using git for staging and deployment. Wed. looks good for me at the moment.

It's funny, two groups scheduled this event in the same place and time without coordinating... very good coincidence! I look forward to it.

I just learned about this after it's already happened.

Is this a one-time event or is the intention that people will meet regularly? If it's the latter, is it intended to be monthly? Weekly?
