meeting

we're mostly friendly. and mostly fun. but we're pretty geeky. in a cool way, of course. but this month we're a bit melancholy on the news Crystal is leaving us for Seattle. :-/

the good news is that we taped our meeting. ya, real geeky. but LA area is HUGE. and sometimes making it to the meeting in person can be difficult. so there you go... we're geeky but thinking about everyone that wanted to join us, but couldn't.

Today we met in Fitou in our new cocoate.com office for the first Drupal group meeting.

Because we were only three it was interesting to solve "complicate" problems.

With everyone worn out from DrupalCampPDX we're going to skip the May meeting and regroup in June. I've been discussing a possible move to a new location but we'll keep the current time. I'll post more details when they're firmed up.

wie ich ja in der Vorstellung von mir und meiner Firma "8-Perspectives New Media & Consult" am 7.3.'08 schon angekündigt habe, habe ich mir vorgenommen einen regelmäßigen Skye-Treff zu Drupal zu initieren. Hier also nun die Umsetzung :

I am a Drupal web developer in Bellville and I am stoked to find that a group like this already exists, I would like to get much more involved in this project. I think that we should start making waves in the international Drupal community by organising our own Drupalcon in Cape Town.

Verehrte Münchner Drupalisten,

schade, weder für einen Münchner Stammtisch noch für einen Münchner Skype-Treff haben sich genug Leute gefunden.

Ich persönlich werde daher einige von Euch per e-mail oder über Eure Homepage zu erreichen versuchen, um mich so mit Euch austauschen zu können.

Weiterhin werde ich versuchen einen regelmäßigen deutschlandweiten Skype-Treff zustande zu bringen und werde dazu auch in die Stadt-Gruppen posten.

Hello, I've touched base with Eric (rapidsynergy)--from his earlier post regarding a meetup and we're both interested in setting something up. I've offered to host the meeting where I work, at the CPTV/WNPR Studios in Hartford. We don't have a date set yet, but we're hoping either for the end of this month (April) or beginning of next--some weeknight/evening (after work).
