I would recommend that you all check out the Refresh Indy group. It's a great group of web designers, developers, and graphic designers. I this group can compliment a lot of Drupal work. There's a big event coming up which would be PERFECT for some socializing and networking with these guys. Check it out! I'll be there.

There seems to be some issues with the broadcast function, or maybe I've lost permission to do so. I've tried 5x to broadcast everyone to remind them of the meetup, as well as contact individuals through the site, but the broadcast doesn't seem to be working, and I get an access denied on other users' contact forms. Finally we are off to another meetup!

Last meetup we learned how to create a basic theme in Drupal 6. This meetup we will focus on the theme layer again and learn how to customize data output to your liking.

If you want to follow along on your own machine/laptop/pc (in the lab) then be sure have access to a server (DaveB might have this setup?) where you can ftp/ssh to make changes to your theme files. If you don't have a Drupal theme you can download one from: http://drupal.org/project/Themes

It would be nice to have some theming, some server admin, maybe some seo, some ajax/jquery stuff too.

This meetup we will make a Drupal 6 theme from scratch. The focus will be more on learning the Drupal theme layer and different methods to manipulating the presentation layer.

Please bring a laptop or have access to a server where you can load Drupal 6 and have access by ftp / ssh to make changes to theme files.

DaveB has scheduled the same lab at Purdue where we met last time (WTHR 212; WTHR=Wetherill Hall).
