IE layout conundrum. ~ Yah, who's ever heard of such a thing? :-(
On http://mocasystems.com/project-gallery
If you select a gallery with a long title like the 2nd row at the end "Hickam Air Force Base Corrosion Control Hangar & Maintenance Facility"
You will see that when the lightbox opens up and shows the title of the gallery, the NAVIGATION or PREV and NEXT image is buried in the middle of the title.
This was also happening in FireFox until I threw a float:left on the container of the navigation. Maybe theres a better way to fix it in FF that will also work on IE?
What's the work around for this one?
THNX!

Regular Meetups Again
Hey Guys!
I want to get regular meetups scheduled again. Starting January, I'd like to have an official meetup date (like 7:00pm on the 2nd Wednesday of every month) or something like that.
But here's what I'd like to change - these meetups will be at a restaurant downtown, so it will be more interaction and discussions than presentations. We will still have presentations and special events, like Hackfests, but these meetings will maintain a time and location every month. I think some consistency will help this group to grow.
Indy Drupal HackFest WrapUp
Whoa! [I promised many of you some helpful Drupal links. Please find those at the bottom of this post]
Thanks to all who brought themselves, drinks, snacks, and their Drupal Knowledge. The quarterly Indy Drupal HackFest hit #5 yesterday with a bang! 24 people showed up to share what they know and learn what they don't know. Geographically the group was all over the place; including Kentuckiana, Columbus, Cincinnati, Mishawaka, Indianapolis, and the greater Indiana in general.

Who/Why:
Refresh Indy 1 Year Party
I would recommend that you all check out the Refresh Indy group. It's a great group of web designers, developers, and graphic designers. I this group can compliment a lot of Drupal work. There's a big event coming up which would be PERFECT for some socializing and networking with these guys. Check it out! I'll be there.
I'll also be posting this (and other local groups of interest) in our Facebook group.

Drupal programmer/themer | Independent
Looking for Drupal programmer(s) with an interest in further development of a site dedicated to style. Have reached a point where we need local talent that can meet with us to discuss plans for expansion and updating our site, as well as be available for troubleshooting. Once plans made, telecommute is ok. Hourly reimbursement commensurate with experience/expertise. Does not require interest in style, but at least one such programmer would be advantageous. Thanks and hope to hear from you.
Indy Hackfest - Which Date works for you?
UI/Front-End Designer looking for work.
I'm seeking a position as UI Designer. Remote/On-Site, Contract/Full-time. http://bit.ly/RAcNF
Thanks everyone!
Meetup Reminder
There seems to be some issues with the broadcast function, or maybe I've lost permission to do so. I've tried 5x to broadcast everyone to remind them of the meetup, as well as contact individuals through the site, but the broadcast doesn't seem to be working, and I get an access denied on other users' contact forms. If you can make contact, please remind a friend!

CINDUG: Using the menu tree in the theme
I have a site I am working on where I need to change the page banner based on which part of the primary menu tree the page is located in. The company has two divisions, and if the current page is anywhere in the 'division A' menus, I want to use one set of code, and if it's in 'division B' menus, I want to use another set.
I started looking into menu_get_active_trail(), but that doesnt appear to be returning useable data. Maybe I am trying to use it in the wrong context, as part of the page.tpl.php?
Any suggestions or ideas?
Thanks,
Chris

External Database Query
Wondering if anyone has any experience querying an external database and displaying the results in a node.
Actually both querying and inserting into a database....
I know I could build pages with php code, but I would rather use a module (if its available) or a drupal standard way....
Thanks!!
Open Atrium Group
Hey guys,
I just noticed there wasn't a group for Open Atrium yet, so I started one :) If anyone out there is using this install profile, you should join the group and share your experiences!
Drupal Programmer and Core Team Member | by Swarm
My name is Mike Bohlmann, and I would like to build a core team of three to five people to form the company that enables the environment for the untapped creative minds of the Swarm to produce something new. While the first project for the Swarm will be to create a role-playing game setting, I hope to learn enough from the Swarm and this development model that the Swarm could get involved in other creative endeavors, most likely still in the non-electronic gaming field. As a member of the core team, you would be both microinvestor and part of the company.
