Chat Module
Hi Guys,
Can anyone recommend me a good chat solution for Drupal 6. I am trying to evaluate different solutions like DimDim, 123FlashChat Server, avchat(avchat.com)..
Has anyone used any of these solutions.. Will U recommend any?
I will be using this for a Learning Management solution. I would like to host online presentations, do whiteboarding, have the ability to control the time the chat sessions are on; All chat sessions will need to be stored and indexed for later retrieval. I will be using the apache solr module. That part seems to work fine.
Image Gallery Video
Here is the link to the video we were discussing in the hackfest today. In the View type of "Node Content" under "Node content settings" I had the Default Arguement set with the token [nid], but once I removed that it seemed to work ok.

There still seems to be a caching issue of some sort. Sometimes when I add an image it displays fine... sometimes it doesn't until I come back later. It has been suggested that the Views Cache needs to be cleared separately than the Flush All Caches that the admin menu provides.
Cincinnati Drupal July Meetup - Zen theme
This month the main topic of conversation will be the Zen Theme, and how to use it to build your own custom themes for Drupal sites. From the project page:

Doug Vann - Unemployed
OK!
It's been just shy of 6 months since I posted a discussion with the exact same title as this one. "Doug Vann - Unemployed"
While my 5 months at SlingShot SEO inc were awesome, they are going in different directions and don't need a dedicated Drupal developer on staff.
But who does? Maybe you know someone? Maybe its you?
Spread the word and let me know what you find.
I'm already involved in some contract work and [now more than ever] open to more. :-)
I'll see you all [many of you, I hope] at the 3rd Indy Drupal HackFest this Saturday!

Apology
Guys, I am truly sorry about last night. I don't know how that meeting either didn't make it on my calendar or somehow dropped off. Don't really know what happened, but I'm sorry about that!!!

lightbox 2 help
OK here's how it goes...
I have CCK+Views2 making a gallery.
I have individual images as thumbnails in the gallery-view.
When you select an image you are treated to the oh so cool if not ever popular Lightbox2 display of.... the node page in an iframe. The iframe contains a whole webpage crammed into the lightbox. I don't want the header region, left and right regions, or back-ground images in the rendering.
Taxonomy Menu for Sale
Attention all developers. The great module Taxonomy Menu is looking for a new owner. This module has a Current Usage of 5200 installs. This amazing module can be your for the price of $0. All it takes is a lot of love.
May 28th @ 5pm - HowTo: Build a Drupal 6 theme (from scratch) - Purdue University - West Lafayette Campus
This meetup we will make a Drupal 6 theme from scratch. The focus will be more on learning the Drupal theme layer and different methods to manipulating the presentation layer.
Please bring a laptop or have access to a server where you can load Drupal 6 and have access by ftp / ssh to make changes to theme files.
DaveB has scheduled the same lab at Purdue where we met last time (WTHR 212; WTHR=Wetherill Hall).
Please tell us your coming (by the signup button)! Pizza and beverages will be provided. Bring a friend and be ready to get geeky with Drupal!
Version upgrade on Mac
Last time I tried to update my version of drupal from 6.10 to 6.11 I wiped out all development I'd done because Mac replaced the modules folder with the new one instead of only overwriting existing files. Now 6.12 is out and I need to do this correctly. Who's got the magic tonight?

Thank you to Tony for providing the space for us on short notice.
Also in this thread, please tell me what you think of this:
Ohio Linux Fest - Cross Posting to Ohio DUG's
I go every year to the Ohio Linux Fest. Its a great open source conference where you can make a lot of great contacts in the open source world.
But, last year I thought maybe there would be some talks on Drupal. There was one, by a person that didn't know a lot about Drupal.
A Call to Arms!
I am going to this. I am also thinking about talking about Drupal. I think that we with the Ohio and other groups in the area, should get together and have a table. Maybe we could get Acquia to sponsor in some sort? Maybe we could get some more drupal talks....
Web Developer | Haan Marketing + Communications
At Haan Marketing+Communications, we are quickly converting a successful, but small, advertising shop into a new media online marketing company. This has been going so well for us, we are outgrowing our current workforce. There are so many website jobs stacked up, we don't know how to get them all done! We need to add another Drupal developer / interface designer / jquery programmer / everything'er to the mix. Could this be your shot to do Drupal sites full time?
PHP Developer/Drupal Expert | Pop Design Works
Pop Design Works has a PHP Developer/Drupal opening at their offices in Montgomery, Ohio.
A laid-back, fun environment where you’ll do challenging work on national accounts with talented co-workers (who are more than a little quirky), all located in a central part of town with free parking. Sound like a place you could love working at? Then you may want to keep reading.
Web Applications Developer | Indianapolis Museum of Art
The Indianapolis Museum of Art is seeking a full-time Web Applications Developer to support a 3-year IMLS grant. Please refer to the attached PDF for position details and application instructions.

Drupal Theme needed on Craigslist
Found this on Craigslist. Anyone here a Drupal theme developer? It was posted on 4/14 so I'm not sure if this is still a need.
