DrupalCamp6
Our meetup group needs a Drupal Speaker !
hi guys,
I am one of the organizers of a group called "NYC Turquoise IT Group" at meetup.com. We are planning to organize an event based on "Drupal" and I am hoping to find someone here who might be interested to participate.
We would like to invite a speaker who is an expert in Drupal and is ready to volunteer to do a presentation about Drupal. Everything else will be organized from us. Projector and WiFi access is available. We will organize the location. Food and drinks are served as well. We are planning to organize the event
here at Manhattan some time May.

These are very rough notes from tom_o_t's session at DrupalCampNYC6 on how to use Drupal for mapping. Feel free to add screenshots, configuration options, etc, and we can contribute back to the GMap documentation page.

Intro to Drupal Hands-On for Drupal Camp NYC 6
Attendees!
Follow the below instructions to make sure you are ready for this session BEFORE you come to DrupalCampNYC!
Why? Biggest reason is to make sure you have all the files that may be used during the presentation (no guarantee we'll use them all!) You may be able to get a network connection and download them there, but from experience at prior Drupal camps not everyone is successful hooking up to the wireless. To be safe rather than sorry follow the below instructions so you have the files already on your machine...
