Drupal enables science teams to collaborate, communicate and manage metadata. Science on Drupal is where scientists, communicators and data managers can come to find out more about Drupal, and developers can help them out. We meet to share knowledge, provide support and collaborate on identifying and architecting shared solutions to common problems for Science on Drupal. Join us to discuss how Drupal and science can work together!

Drupal Based Electronic Lab Notebook
The source code and installation instructions for a fairly robust example of a Drupal based Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) has been posted on GitHub at https://github.com/MyLabBook/mylabbook. An associated community site has also been updated at https://mylabbook.org with a video describing the installation, documentation, screenshots and other background material. Plans are to continue to improve this platform and continue to utilize the robust capabilities of Drupal to provide a low cost and capable ELN that matches or exceeds the capabilities of many commercial ELN packages.

The major challenge when using Drupal for publishing data from sensor measurements is how to adopt its data model which is content based to information that consists of many fields collected over prolonged periods of time. I'm interested if anyone in this group has implemented or is aware of solutions where several millions of records with tens to hundreds of fields are imported and visualized or exported to common formats using integration with third party technologies. I have implemented such a solution and I would like to share knowledge with others.

It's very brief and would be helpful to understand the landscape of how Drupal is used, focus areas of relevance to you, and whether our mission should target a niche rather than a single technology - along with any other thoughts or suggestions you have.
