Transferring search terms from Google
We had a discussion riddled with confusion and debate about under what conditions search terms are passed from Google searches to the target site. Primarily, there was debate about Google searches executed as Secure Shell or https. This is of interest because Google has made a move to run searches when logged into Google as Secure Shell.
No search terms passed from HTTPS Google search:

Happy New Year!! Hope your holidays were great. As I have not planned for a meeting and so have no real agenda, let's keep partying. Let's meet at the London UnderGround at 7pm on Monday night - 30Jan12. I'll try to get the spot in the back. Of course we'll talk straight Drupal but It won't stop there. For instance, people are already asking about DrupalCorn 2012.
Need Some CSS Help
Hi folks. I'm looking for a bit of quick help with a CSS issue I'm having in one of my Drupal sites. The root of the problem is that I've learned CSS from experience only, and never really understood precisely how to get the result I'm looking for.

Greetings all.
I have what I believe to be a javascript issue, but since I know very little about javascript I can't be sure. Help!
A client (non-profit) of mine purchased a very inexpensive calendar widget recently and asked me to add it to their website. I copied the code into a block and placed the block where desired on their home page...it worked very nicely. Only problem is it "broke" all the other javascript on that page, so things like Views Slideshow animations stopped working.
Can anybody tell me, in 100 words or less, if I can fix this and how I might do so?

We have a problem where status messages on our pages won't go away, the status area just keeps growing and growing and growing.
For example, I just made a change to my user page, and I get a status of "The changes have been saved". If I then save the page again, the status message shows:
* The changes have been saved
* The changes have been saved
If I then modify another page, I get:
* The changes have been saved
* The changes have been saved
* Page Google Search Results has been updated.

November DrupalCorn Meeting - Case Study: Rental Listings with Drupal 7 & Ubercart
I'll be presenting a case study based on a site that I've been working selling property rental listings. The site runs Drupal 7, Ubercart, and a number of custom modules to fill in the holes. I'll touch on the functionality of the site, the lesser known modules used, a quick Ubercart intro, as well as the custom glue modules, and issues I ran into and how they were solved.
Also - a reminder that we will be meeting this coming Monday the 21st rather than the 28th due to the holiday. Same place and time - 333 Science II on the ISU campus from 7-9pm.
