Drupal Devs needed

Posted by frazras on September 9, 2013 at 2:33am

Looking for Developers for a budding startup. Remuneration in equity only if you are passionate about the idea after you have drank the kool-aid. If you are looking for a fun, enterprise level Drupal project with a lot of potential, please can contact me. Our strict prerequisite is PASSION! (not the sour kind)

The project will involve: REST Services, media management, e-commerce, rules, social networking, accessibility, advertisement management, recommendation engines. A good amount of sysadmin for performance as well.

For those of you that order lunch from restaurants when you're at work, the following scenario should be familiar:

Call to find out what's on the menu
If ordering for others in the office, hang up and tell them what's on the menu
Call back to place order

Wouldn't it be a lot easier if you could view the menu on your phone and only call to place your order (and even place the order online too)?

If you're a restaurant owner wouldn't the person answering the phone be able to take more orders if the line wasn't tied up giving out menu info?

User group meeting

Hey, lets have an August meetup everyone! I say Chilitos next Wednesday. I'll be there from 6:30 on and I'd be happy to present on a slideshow module I built from a fork of Drupal's core book module: https://drupal.org/sandbox/varunity/1785586

Others please also comment and suggest topics you may be interested in. I also have some neat experience using the bootstrap and less modules which I don't mind going over.

See you all soon. First one to Chilitos next Wednesday gets a free cheese quesadilla on me :)

Cheers,
Varun

Contextual filters

Posted by MR Nich on May 7, 2013 at 3:02am

I am trying to implement slide shows on each page, the slideshow is in a block. I added a category field, I am not sure how to filter the images so that for eg.) I click on the menu link named "health" i see sildeshow images for health category or i click "nutrition" i see nutrition slideshow images. if someone could point me to a video or jus giv the steps how to do this. I would be greatful.
