Hi there, fellow Drupallers.

I am developing a community site for a very small non-profit preschool (in trade for tuition $). It will have all sorts of basic Drupal stuff like forums, calendars, blogs from the teachers, etc.

We would like to be able to have photo albums on the site where parents (after login and password) may view and order photos of their children. These orders would then be fulfilled by some third-party digital printing service like Shutterfly. We like Shutterfly because they offer a kickback system so that the preschool would actually get money from orders processed by Shutterfly. Shutterfly has a ProGallery setup so that you can set up your own private gallery and sell prints, but all of that is on their server and I would prefer to keep visitors on ours even if the photos are on the Shutterfly server.

Does anyone know of a way to embed a Shutterfly album into our site so that visitors may click on "add to order" but not be taken away from our site until they're ready to "place Order"? There used to be a Shutterfly module, but it got orphaned along the way.

I've looked into Gallery2 and it looks like an unnecessarily huge monster of a thing. I've built Galleria slideshows and Lightbox slideshows before and they're good enough for our purposes. Doesn't have to super slick.

Anyone have any ideas on this? Some kind of addition to Embed Media module?

Thank you for your time and thoughts.

I have used Gallery 2 successfully and often. It does Shutterfly and the good thing about it is that it just works -- enables large uploads easily in several ways. However, I agree that it is huge and many are finding ways around it. There are better ways to do small albums, but I'd be interested in whether you find a better way to manage large numbers of photos and individual galleries.
