Hi,
I am in bangalore for some consulting work and would wanna meet drupallers from bangalore, how do you guys feel about meeting up this weekend? If there is enough interest then maybe someone from bangalore can set up an event for a meetup.
Things I am interested:
1> Meeting drupallers in bangalore.
2> Finding out how other drupallers use drupal.
3> Maybe some technical discussions? What about 7?
Hoping to meetup with drupal community here.

For the meetup venue, I VETO the ccd near forum mall!!

CCD near Forum is a good central place.

Have we talked about a time yet? I would prefer for this to be held in afternoon.
Koramangala is fine for me. CCD in JP Nagar (the one above iStore) also looks like a good place to.

It will be difficult to meet
It will be difficult to meet at a drupal-shop/companies office at such a short notice. So looks to me like we need to decide on a place to meet. How about everybody mention 2 places that they would be most preferable to them, and we can run the algorithm that works for most of the folks and choose upon a place.
@dipench unless you can arrange for everybody to meet at bluestars' office. I would love to see some D7 stuff in action.

So before a venue lets fix a date? And whoever provides the venue with internet will definitely have the veto on venue! Venue I think is not a problem and I personally don't mind if there is no internet.

I was just wondering if somebody has used meetup.com for this. I use it for a couple of other meetups and it is excellent. Eventbrite is more focussed towards events, not meetups.
Just a thought.
If you want, I will create a meetup for DBUG over there and you guys can try it out.

Meetup Experience
Hi Guys,
I am glad to say that nine of guys met in IFRAME Technologies. Its good to see this time we got few drupal newbie's who is interested to learn. We discussed about module development and Drupal Performance.
We discussed about memcache, apc and boost modules to increase performance of Drupal Sites. Drupal Newbie's got cleared with their doubts in module development. We planned to conduct some hands on workshop on Drupal in future.
I would like to thank IFRAME TECHNOLOGIES on behalf of Drupal Bangalore User Group for providing conference space for meetup.
Obviously we miss you dipen. Next time we hope to see you in Bangalore meetup .
