Learn about Drupal and meet local Drupal enthusiasts. We meet from 6 pm until 7:30 pm, then reserve the last half-hour for proper socializing, snacking, and further discussion at a local pub. Last month we went to the Southlake Grill (near REI) which as a block further than Patty Coynes, but I think we all enjoyed it more, so we will plan on that.

Coworking will be a block away at Moka Coffee around 3:30pm.

problem areas - we will solicit 3 stubborn problems people need help with, and split into groups based on interests to help with those problems.

* Consultants (based in Seattle/King Co.)
* Events (scheduled, future and past 12 months)
* Glossary (common definitions, list and link taxonomy terms)
* Help (Q&A, filter like an issue queue: all, open, resolved, closed)
* Jobs (offered in Seattle/King Co.)
* Members (sort by date, filter?)
* Meetups (informal small gatherings separate from monthly meetings)
* Resources (IRC, classes, modules, filter?)
* Topics (list titles linked to pages, sort, filter: advanced, design, beginner, intros, etc.)
* What's hot (consolidate PNW groups? see http://groups.drupal.org/hot )

Turns out I am likely going to be out of town for work and will miss the meeting. Others are welcome to work on this in my absence. And someone else is going to have to bring snacks! Chris is not going to able to make it either.

I believe a local Seattle Drupal Dojo would provide an opportunity to expand the co-working sessions and build on the breakout problem solving sessions we have had in recent DUG meetings. Hopefully we can get Gusaus to give a lightening talk on the local Drupal Dojos starting in other parts of the country and have time to discuss the possibilities for starting one in Seattle.
