Training and attention
Here at Suzhead, we're not priced too far off of our biggest competitors. What we can offer that they can't often comes down to training and attention. I don't usually work with clients who have their own IT departments managing their web sites, and the bigger shops don't seem to be as ready to work the support/training angle in the small-mid-size price range. Even a $2k client will get a quick response from me, and I include training whenever there is a site build or new feature in the mix.
After all, the technology doesn't do much good if they can't get ramped up to using it effectively.
