I thought I'd create this thread as a place to put feedback about DrupalBootCamp UIUC and see what that will mean for our May BU DrupalBootCamp.
This first one comes from one of our IT staff that visited the morning sessions:

I thought the UIUC Drupal event was very informative. I liked that each speaker had a short stint on their topic, and things moved along at a good pace. Starting off with your presentation provided a nice segue into the rest of the morning topics.
I was also quite impressed with some of the sites shown later, both in design and content. The judicial site that Brian showed really opened my eyes to the power of Drupal when it comes to tying data together in different ways. Too bad we didn’t see something like that when we were shopping for editorial front end systems for newpapers at my last job!
The sites that Brandon (I think) showed were great to display what can be done graphically to move away from a basic Drupal template.
You made a good point that once you learn Drupal, you can’t unlearn it, and go back to help others. It’s frustrating to be at the other end of things, trying to learn and get up to speed, but after attending the conference, I have much more respect for what can be done once one gets past the learning curve, and more desire to get to that point.
