December 22nd Drupal Meeting - YES

The end of year holidays means that a lot of people will not be available for our regular Drupal User Group, so we have combined that meeting with the Ubercart User Group meeting. Anyone interested in meeting on December 22nd for some Drupal fun? Here's some ideas for a meeting:

Cookies and Code - Cookie exchange and some coding project - Chach?
Darkness and Documentation - Send one of the longest nights of the year getting people set up for and creating documentation
your fantastic idea!

Let us know if you are game, and if you have good ideas. Once we get a consensus, we can post the official meeting notice.

How about a show of Hands

So far, the meeting is just myself and Matthew. We did get a number of definite maybes at last night's user group meeting, but that is probably not enough to make this worthwhile.

If you are interested in attending, please post a comment here. When we have a quorum I will post the event. If not, we will post a cancellation comment.

Here's a meeting idea - we could go round the room, and everyone could present something - favorite new module, a question, show off recent work, etc.

One more idea - instead of a cookie exchange, how about a beer exchange?

I have not been to a Drupal user group meeting ... but would like to attend Wednesday meeting.
Where and when is it?

Well I'm hoping I can make the 22nd my first meeting ;).

I'm pretty bummed to find out that the speaker I missed was on SEO (oye!) since I've been running that grind for at least a good 3 years now. Actually got a pretty nifty ida for show and tell too :).
