Hi Everyone-- it's Twin Cities Ubercart/Ecommerce User Group meeting time!
Agenda for February 16, 2011 meeting (7pm to 9pm):
- Introductions
- Topic: Taxonomy menus (I realize this is near and dear to everyone's heart)
Since Taxonomy menus play a large role in Ubercart - thought we should explore the needs some of us have to configure them differently from the "out of the box" version.
a. Can we do such
b. What are some of the issues we have come across - or, what is it you would like yours to do.
c. Has anyone developed work-arounds for their menus
d. Do have members that would like to show some of the things they have done with these menus
Please RSVP so we can have an estimate of the number of attendees (see signup tab above)
Also, refreshments always welcome!
Look forward to seeing all of you!

Excellent Topic Choice
I have an example of a work around I did for Taxonomy menus which requires education of the client.
Also, if there is time could we maybe look at:
1. Adding a required field in the checkout for say County? (Needed for tax purposes.)
2. Triggers and Actions. Example: Skipping the Calculate Taxes trigger if the role is Tax-Exempt.
3. Using Arguments with uc_products view.

It will be my first visit to a TC users meeting, and to the 'Lab' center...looking forward!
