Why I created this group.

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.

Well at this point in my life, I am unemployed, but working on my own private mmorpg server, that will be using drupal.

But before this, I was a coldfusion programmer for about 6-7 years. I have always been more interested in improving performance and scalability/performance than merely being a coder.

I have always had a passion for programming, but especially in dealing with databases or servers, to make applications, really as scalable as possible.

Now I am here, to help create a community of other drupal/php coders, employers, job seekers, etc. So that we can share, learn, hire, work in Minnesota.

Hope to see you all here!

Do not forget g.d.o/twin-cities

It is a decidedly Minneapolis-St. Paul centered group, but be sure to also see the Twin Cities group. Also there are some job postings @ the Science Museum and another nonprofit, as well! It's a good group too, the July meetup will have a lot of developer-centric presentations - plus Drupal Daze also happening very soon (late July) @ Science Museum.

In any case having some outstate Drupalers would help prod everyone to try to do videocasts / podcasts too. Have a good one!

Hello Minnesota!

MN outstaters, that is... I have sometimes wondered if I was the only one, heh. I have also been in the TC group, but haven't been paying attention... (notes to self: must check out what Drupal Daze is all about).

About me, the short version: budding Drupal consultant/entrepreneur in central MN (need gigs, will travel).
