Hi,
I am working on a ShrinkTheWeb module, http://drupal.org/project/shrinktheweb for Drupal 7. This module uses the ShrnkTheWeb () API functionality to generate thumbnails of web pages.
I couldn't find such module although similar module exists, http://drupal.org/project/website_screenshot . The WebSite ScreenShot module does not have a Drupal 7 version and I decided to start working on my own module.
What features do you want to be integrated in the ShrinkTheWeb module?

Not to sound like a stick in the mud...
... but have you considered joining forces with the Website Screenshot team and helping with a port to D7? That module has a nice pluggable API and already integrates with the Link CCK field to present thumbnails of screenshots... You could add ShrinkTheWeb as a screenshot engine for that module (either rolled in with that module or an independent add-on module) to both the D6 and D7 codebase at that point as well. Looking at the code, it might even be mostly portable by running it through the new D6 >> D7 migration Coder tool.
FYI, another one that hasn't been ported to D7 is the Websnapr CCK field.
Just a thought...

If the maintainers of the website_screenshot were responsive, that would be a better way to go. However, they have not been responsive to my previous posts and requests for integration. Most of the smaller providers that are supported by that module are no longer working or not in business. So it doesn't seem like they are serious about maintaining the module. I haven't looked at it in awhile so maybe things have changed. If not, then a standalone plugin is the only way to go and ShrinkTheWeb will be around long after other "hobbyist level" screenshot services disappear (as has already been the case).
