what fonts should i install to support Hindi docs?

we are working on translating some articles into hindi.. and we were asked

Do you have a preference which font it would come in? Different Hindi fonts are often laid out differently on the keyboard, so when the font is changed, the spelling of all the words may also change depending on which fonts are used, so it would be helpful to know if there's any particular font you would want it to be in. I don't know for sure if it will work out, but I would definitely like to look into this possibility since I know of some people who might be interested in doing this and I know it could make a big difference.

hi,
though i m new to drupal,i m interested in translating modules or documentation,i m from india-i know hindi-gujarati-english all well, and i have translated 2 projects before(noteped++ and LiLi project) so have experience..and i would like to suggest "SHRUTI" fonts.. and pl. can u suggest me how to contribute in translating?
