Okay being the Drupal NOOB here - I am curious what module would be best for a Calendar Events - I am currently working on a Deaf Awareness Month Site for Houston utilizing Drupal. And in September we will be having a month long different events hosted by different organizations and etc. So I see there is like 4-5 different ones, so wanted some feedbacks on which Calendar/Event module would be best suited for this. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Calendar of Events
The other more knowledgeable people can correct me, but I am pretty sure that the most common suggestion would be using a combination of the Views, Content Construction Kit (CCK), Date, and Calendar modules.

There are 2 videos that really helped me out alot. They are for Drupal 6 but I was able to manage to follow it with my Drupal 7 install pretty easily.

Did that - and downloaded the modules - apparently alot of them are still in Alpha or Beta so still hitting bugs and error messages. :( sigh
