I've just released a new Omega subtheme, aptly titled: Beta (http://drupal.org/project/beta).
Beta is HTML5, with CSS3 gradients, and other CSS3 enhancements using (by default) a 12 column 960 grid.
This is my first attempt in D7 to "really" integrate the color module. There is still a lot of tweaking with the color module support and default CSS schemes that needs to happen, as well as adding new, attractive color schemes, and possibly even replacing the ones that are there.
Some work still needs to be done as well on the color scheme preview window as it still looks moderately like Bartik, and doesn't completely respect all color changes.
I really hope this subtheme can gain a little interest, and I can work in the near future on some additional subthemes with color support for Omega.

The body gradient suffers from banding because of the height especially with darker color transitions, is there a way to add a third or fourth color that would be controlled in the theme settings?

My concern...
My "main" concern with the color module in this first implementation I've done via the Beta theme is having too many damn settings in that configuration screen... it already has more than most themes implementing the color module do, and it scares me to think of seeing that form with like 15-20 color settings.
The CSS in the theme (no doubt) will need some tweaking just to make all the settings work.
My hope with this "test case" is to better understand the color module, see how people use it, and what they come up with in hopes that I can A.) Improve the beta implementation and B.) Implement some more themes with color support after having a better understanding of best practices when involving the color module.

The advanced features are there if needed, but yeah, training wheel default settings are always good. Also, an even number of colors being available makes for faster compression and smaller sizes.
