Hi there!
A few days ago, we posted two messages in the Bay Area, Berkeley and Silicon Valley Users Groups looking for Drupal Themers and Drupal Developers interested in working with a Drupal Shop of the Bay Area (Web + Mobile, Inc.). Since these are local groups, it was a surprise for us to find that 99% of the messages we have received came from abroad and that the number of local ones was really small.
We're wondering if this may have something to do with the GIT issue, since the email list seem to have been dead lately, but we will appreciate any interesting comment or recommendation about it.
Just in case , the email address to send the resumes is info@webplusmobile.com and we are also looking for Drupal Sales Managers.
Best regards,
Web + Mobile, Inc.

Busy
I don't think I saw the posts, but I am not surprised. I am local and busy.
ditto here -- also local,
ditto here -- also local, also busy. to the OP, good luck with your hunt though!
ps-There was also not very much detail in the original posting. some detailed specifics (location/budget/project focus) are always helpful in such situations, esp as it sounds like you expected fast responses.

I suggest you join the San Francisco Drupal Users group on meetup.com where you will find that John Faber has put together a job board of sorts http://www.meetup.com/SFDUG-San-Francisco-Drupal-Users-group/ as well as you could come down to the local Drupal user group once a month (2nd Monday) and talk to some developers there. There are usually a couple seeking work. However, please do not blame the user group for your lack of finding workers, if you want guaranteed results you should seek the services of a recruiting agency.
