The Buffalo, NY area Drupal group will ideally be a local network of Drupal users who are interested in sharing ideas, expertise, and possibly resources. Additionally, I am very curious to find out what other organizations in the Buffalo, NY region are currently using or converting to Drupal.

To start the introductions, I am the Director of E-Commerce at AAA Western & Central New York (www.nyaaa.com – use a buffalo zip code to view). We just recently converted to Drupal. Now that we have a base platform in place, we are very excited to begin to implement and utilize various modules.

We're evaluating Drupal and CiviCRM at Buffalo ReUse

Hi D,

I'm Kevin Hayes, part-time technology director for Buffalo ReUse. We're a not for profit social enterprise (www.buffaloreuse.org). We engage in building deconstruction and salvage and run a used building materials store to support our social efforts in the areas of youth employment and development, vacant land use and community organization. I'm also the store manager.

Right now we're testing Drupal and CiviCRM as a possible next generation platform for our website. CiviCRM looks like a viable tool for constituent management.

I'm glad to hear you're using Drupal. Your site looks quite impressive. If there's anything we can do to work together or help each other, let's do it.
