Are you a Drupal user and do you know SQL? If you answered "yes", then SQL ICE could be a useful tool to have on your desktop.

In this session, we will demonstrate how you can use SQL ICE to access your Drupal data, using the same version of SQL ICE (v.1.1.1) that is available as a free download from our site, to run queries against the data from our live Drupal site.

We will begin with some basic queries that simply list all of the data you have in a particular table, and progress through more and more complex queries that produce results based on specific matches, including a "join" that combines records from multiple tables.

SQL ICE was launched by Business Integration Technology in January, 2011. It is a comprehensive tool that has many diverse functions:
- manage queries in one place (batch updates, scheduled reports, etc).
- publish new and ad hoc reports for users on the Web in minutes, even for legacy applications
- integrate applications through database tables using Web services
- create & deploy complete Web-based applications
