how to create your own drupal theme

im new to drupal, could any1 suggest a tutorial for creating your own theme. I would jst require a basic guideline.

I just did a workshop on turning a static web page into a theme at a Drupal conference. I've posted my notes here if they would be any help to you!

Hope that helps some - but I recommend reading the theming chapter of Pro Drupal Development to grasp some of the deeper concepts.

There's some "stuff" going on with the Dojo, I don't know exactly what but try http://drupaldojo.net instead, that also works.
