I have few plays each have following:
Author of the play
Name of the play
Scene Number
Conversation in Poem
Conversation in text
Actors/Characters in each scene (Remember all plays have same characters. all are classical plays.)
I would like to ad those to my drupal site. I need to list those according to the (a) name of the play (b) Actors/Characters and so on.
If listed by name of the play, it should list all informations including scenes from the same play. If listed by character/actors, it should list all converstaion in poems, text and scene number, name of the play etc for this particular character/actor.
If I made two separate custome content types for Conversation in Poem and another one for Conversation in text along with CCK fields for Author of the play, Name of the play,Scene number and Actors/Characters. then what will I do? Use views? How can I use views?
Is there any other way to do this? If anybody can help me, please.

You should create a custom content type with CCK, and if you have done already, that's fine!!
About displaying information with filters...
You can use views.

Views filtering can be a bit of a pain to understand the first time round.
In your case select a page view (and assign it a url)
I think in your case a table or list view works best.
Select the fields from your content type:
Author of the play
Name of the play
Scene Number
Conversation in Poem
Conversation in text
Then you could use the filter of node type (your content type) and then select the option of the poem or conversation content type.
You can also create new views by repeating the above steps (with new urls) and an additional sort criteria (node title, author-field title in descending or ascending order.)

First of all i wantit to be in php
second there is data that we manually update on daily basis but i want it to be done automatically on website.
third there is some data like monthly dividend s of all funds portfolio of all funds.that shd come in on monthly basis when ever a customer wants to see.
fourth is subscription of Our daily NAV.someone register through email id and every day the nav goes to him through email.

I had tried to help Anuradha earlier but she requires guidance setting up a new server environment on a dedicated windows server. ie. apache installed and set up to support Drupal, PHP installed along with add ons such as php gdtoolkit, mysql setup and configured before Drupal can be installed.
