About the Peer Review group

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.
You are viewing a wiki page. You are welcome to join the group and then edit it. Be bold!

Open source, open collaboration, open feedback!

This is a group for peer review of modules, themes, installation profiles, features…. Have a new module and want some feedback? Created a new theme and would like people to look at it for suggestions? Have an installation profile you'd like others to review? This is the place to seek that out!

This is a forum for collaboration and avoidance of duplication! There are thousands of projects on drupal.org. Maybe your idea overlaps someone else's project. Maybe you feel yours is suitably different, but want feedback on execution. Maybe you just want a gut check on where you're going with a theme. Or maybe you'd like to collaborate. This is the place!

Post your project, or link to it.

Suggested guidelines: In the interest of keeping things organized, please try to stick to one thread per project. In the interest of keeping things clear, please put the site name in the post title, and ask for the specific kinds of feedback you're looking for. In the interest of building a constructive community here in this group, please be specific in any feedback provided. If you're still exploring ideas, maybe create a wiki!

No job postings! Job postings will be removed. Repeat offenders will be removed from this group.

Code Review

For a time, Morbus Iff and Karoly Negyesi (chx) offered to review anyone's code in an effort called Drupal Tough Love, but the only official Drupal code review came when people applied to publish their first project— not always the time when people feel ready to run the full gauntlet. The Peer Review group is home to a new initiative to match people who want reviews of all kinds for their projects with people willing to do the review— both giving and getting reviews are excellent ways to learn and to build relationships in the community.

Use Drupal.org's issue queue to request reviews by tagging dedicated review issues with the peer-review, and see lists of requests for reviews, broken down by category.
