Hey everyone, i just got back from a bit of a whirlwind 2 weeks of travel, and am off again on thursday for NYC for a week.
Looks like there are 3 votes for october 4th, though one is non committal. I'll not be in seattle on the 4th. Robin, if the meeting happens on the 4th, can you lead? If so, post an event so folks can start signing up.
Otherwise, maybe we should consider october 11?

Not on the 4th
Sorry, but I can not make it on the 4th. Can someone else lead the way that date or should we try for another date?
In fact I'm still not sure where we should meet yet. I have not had much time to research good downtown locations. Any suggestions out there?

Wednesdays...
I can lead the 4th if that remains the top choice. But I'd like to change my vote and support the 11th instead.
I'll also keep and eye out for locations. Possibly: Alibi Room, Elysian Brewery, McMeniman's Six Arms...
OK, so the 11th
Shawn, lets say the 11th, can you pick the place? and post the event? Does the alibi room have wifi? the elysian would be great, do they have wifi?

Locations for the 11th
I'm sitting in Six Arms on Pike and Melrose right now. They recently added free wireless and offer a full bar plus pub menu. There is an upstairs where we could pull together a group of tables with one or two power outlets.
I don't recall the Elysian having open wireless when we were there after DrupalCamp. I had to use my phone to get a connection out. I will check on that this evening and post back.
Locations update
I suggest McMenamin's Six Arms as they are the only one with Wifi so far. I spoke with one of the managers yesterday and they are OK with us taking a table upstairs. Parking in the Pike/Pine corridor may be a chore, but no worse than before.
The Elysian has no open Wifi that I could access. But may have more accessible parking.
So I propose we try Six Arms in October and see how that works for everyone. I will post the details in a new event on the Seattle Group page.
