The inaugural Twin Cities DrupalCamp was a great success! We sold out at 250 attendees, we had over 40 great sessions for every skill level and topic, and we drew speakers attendees from all over the country. Hopefully you were able to attend, and hopefully this inspired you to get more involved in the community. Perhaps Angie and Jen's keynotes inspired you to get involved, or perhaps this in-person contact has helped you realize how much easier it is to learn and build when you've got a little help from your friends.
But where do you begin?
In this month's meeting, we'll discuss the ways you can get involved more with the local and international Drupal community. We'll show you the ropes of creating an account on drupal.org, and we'll show you how to use IRC to get and give support by chatting online. Lean the ways you can 'give back' to Drupal in ways that work best for you - whether that's writing code, helping out with documentation and support, or even helping to plan the next camp!
Whether you're brand new to Drupal or a long-time contributor, we hope you'll attend and share your questions and answers.

Being Successful with Drupal
The key take-away of getting involved with Drupal is finding the support and resources that will make people successful with Drupal. This will be a great event to welcome new people to the local user group and get people on the right track.
Count me in!
I'm on board!
There's a 50% chance I'll be traveling Wednesday evening. If not, I'll be there!

Family & school events = no-go
I'm not able to make it to either of this weeks' events but will be supporting from afar. If there are meeting outcomes that I can help with, I'm happy to do so.
Bummer
The 50% chance of my attending just went to zero with a late-scheduled out-of-town trip. Let me know if there's anything I can help with community-building.
no time and gas money this week
Sorry, but after all the trips to the city the past couple of weeks, I have to stay home and get something done as well as save on gas
I'll be there in spirit but not in person.

Address?
Hey,
I'd like to come to this event, but I'm not seeing an address.
It's 2104 Stevens Ave South,
It's 2104 Stevens Ave South, Minneapolis, 55404 near the corner of Franklin and Nicollet and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. The address is in the header of the group page and should be on every event notice but was absent from this one. We apologize. We are in the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy building. Hope to see you on Wednesday!

too many meetings
Hi, I would love to attend and may pop by. There gets to be too many meetings in one week for me!
Can I bring my child?
My spouse and I both want to attend but we can't leave the 7 year old home alone. The boy says that he'll sit quietly and entertain himself while mom and dad talk. We'll bring stuff for him to do, and if he finds he can't sit quietly, one of us will take him home.
If you think it's just not appropriate, we'll understand and one of us will stay home.
The 7 year old is really excited about this idea, and keeps saying he's going to DrupalCamp tonight. He packed his bag of activities this morning and set it by the back door so it won't get forgotten.
