I just put together a module to let me archive and taxonomize news articles I come across. Sometimes I can't find an article or blog entry I remember reading, other times newspaper sites will remove stories after a certain period, and it's also just nice to have them organized in some fashion.
I included a Greasemonkey script that lets you just hit Ctrl+Alt+A on any website you'd like to archive. It opens a new tab containing a node entry form with the title automatically filled in from , tags suggested to you that are already in your vocabulary which appear in the article, the original url, as well as the path to a locally downloaded copy.
Has anything like this already been done that I should just be using? If not, I'd like to share it with everyone. Tell me what you think!

One thing
I'm mostly posting this for my own benefit, but I found the News Page module which I'll try out when I have more time to see if it provides the same functionality.
Nope
Actually that module is completely unrelated, so I created the project News archiver behind that link.
Archive and remove from the front page
Hi,
I have created a news content type. I want to know how to archive the news items automatically once it reaches the expiry date. Also it should not be seen on the front page.
use the issue queue
@Reema_0902:
Please post support requests for mocho's module at the issue queue (yes, even sandbox modules have them):
