Some well known Internet folks are running a web design conference in Vancouver in February 2007:
We’re crossing hemispheres and date lines to bring you the first annual Web Directions North. Put together by designers and developers, for designer and developers, this conference is brought to you by Dave Shea, Derek Featherstone, Maxine Sherrin and John Allsopp."
It's a 2 day conference with optional workshop the day before and 2 days of organized skiing/boarding at Blackcomb Whistler afterwards. Looks cool, but it's not priced like BarCamp!
