Webform module woes

Assistance needed...I decided to try out the Webform module on my local test machine, and on two different sites I get the same problem. After installing and enabling the module, when I go into Create Content to make a webform, I get Title and Body fields (like a Story) rather than the Body, Description, and Confirmation Message fields that are normally associated with this module.

I am assuming a conflict with another module ... any suggestions on how to address this dilemma? TIA

I'm going on memory here, but I'm pretty sure that's how it the module works. The form starts out with the normal node fields (title and body) and then you add your fields after that. I'll fire it up and check it out to be sure.

OK, just fired it up and yeah, you create the form, type in the title and body, SAVE, then you get a screen where you can add whatever fields you want.
