Hi there,
looks I can't keep up with Omega... Just started with the 3.x branch cause I saw the Alpha subtheme is validating (main reason not to use Omega – some clients really only look if your website is validating...)
But now I can't figure out where to put action links and titles?! Have tried to copy the the region--content.tpl.php from the omega theme to my alpha subtheme but it's missing all the variables and I don't seem to be able to figure out where they're defined :( Any hints would be so appreciated!

Alpha is the base theme for
Alpha is the base theme for Omega and is basically the code mothership of the entire thing with a stripped down feature set since most of the cool features that were built on the API that Alpha provides reside in Omega. The reason why Omega does not validate is not because its code is invalid but because w3schools does not yet validate HTML5 + RDFa properly. I repeat: There is nothing INVALID in the HTML that Omega produces (at least not that I know of). If you really care for the green bar on w3schools to appear anyhow just disable the RDF module. Please use the Omega starterkits if you are new to this. Alpha starterkits and alpha as a base theme are really just for minimalistic advanced users that know what they are doing and want to start on the grid API from scratch.

thanks for you answer. I know there's nothing wrong with the Omega theme not validating at the moment, but it's hard to tell that customers. Someone told them: "If you're looking for a good web designer, first check if their sites are validating" (and give them the link). So since web is a scary place for them they're happy to have something that seems to make the decision easier and they really only care for that green bar and often you don't even get to the point where you could explain yourself...
