A couple of months ago (back in January!), we started talking at every user group meeting about a DrupalCamp WNY for Fall 2011. A few people stepped up to form a board after a few of those open calls for interest, and we've had a few meetings (all of us + ad hoc subgroups) to get the planning off to a good start.
More help is needed, though. Volunteers. Sponsors. Presenters. Party organizers (important). Even (gasp) a venue! The event website (based on the popular COD) is coming soon, as are branding concepts that are being donated by a local agency.
