Welcome to the Drupal user group for Spokane, WA. I'm really not sure how many others are out there in Spokane that are using drupal but I figured we could start by creating a group here! Maybe we can get together from time to time and talk Drupal!

Anyway, welcome, please sign up for this group!

Well in coming across this group I had to join - as you pointed out Brent, did not think there was much happening for Drupal in the EasternWA area – particularly being Spokane. I'm fairly new to Drupal - roughly 6months or so and love it. Just finished creating my first site with Drupal and went live a few days ago - created on local machine then uploaded to WebHost. Oh, I guess I should say first - I hope this group is still active or at least has an interest in Drupal - I think it would be great to get together sometime, I could learn a lot more from a person face to face on the power of Drupal. Fairly new to all languages of Web Design - currently in college for a few degrees in CPU Programming and Web Development - expected to graduate in the fall next year. Looking for connections in my area - would hope to learn more from a more experiences Druplars and a thing or two on web design. Thanks for creating this group "designerBrent" - I hope it's still possible to be an active group with participation and that you are as well living in Spokane.
Thanks,
-Mike

Welcome Myke.

Great to see some more Drupal coming from this area. I'm currently working for The Inlander weekly paper here in town and am hoping to be launching their new website, using Drupal, before the end of the year. I'm still much further down the learning curve than I'd like to be, but would be more than happy to help put a few people together in front of a beer some time and see who's in town doing the same kind of stuff.

I am using Drupal in combination with CiviCRM for http://www.nscss.org/. I rely on more technically astute contract folks when things don't work (like CiviMail bouncing) and for CSS and themes, leaving me as head User, volunteer, and bottle washer. We still have much left to do on the site: bring over the forum from the old site, and set up a restricted access subdomain/subdirectory.

I like CiviCRM, but it is deep, and I am still getting my sea legs.
