Productive session tonight at EHQ (http://thinkehq.com) at Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge. Jeff and Brian from the group met with the team from RIO and a couple of volunteers from the local entrepreneur community for a planning and brainstorming session ahead of Saturday's Site Building Volunteer Day (http://www.meetup.com/louisianadrupal/events/19485551/).
For the planned site we determined:
- Working title/domain name & registered the domain
- Setup hosting account (post-event Brian went home and got the server, Drupal install and Drush config all complete already)
- Defined core feature set, which includes:
Drupal 7, Bartik theme (since 1-day event and confirmed participant list prevents the notion of a custom theme design and build cycle)
User profiles with Facebook/Twitter/etc integration
Group/Organization profile pages
Events calendar
Forum
News Feed (aggregate RSS feeds from regional sources)
Pages (e.g. About Us, Guide docs, etc)
Contact Us form
Admin features such as Mollom, flag as inappropriate, role-based posting privileges (bypass moderation after you get initial postings to the community approved by a moderator)
