On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of September 2011 the first Drupal Commerce Camp will be held in Lucerne, Switzerland. The three-day event presents possibilities of Drupal for modern companies. Fresh and informative like a Drupal Camp, but it is intended not only to developers and users from the Drupal community, but the executives, managers and project managers from agencies, media houses, NGOs and businesses.

What will be presented
On Friday, the presentations are mostly in German and will appeal to entrepreneurs and businessmen and -women. An interaction between visitors and presenters is desired. The focus is on online platforms that enable innovative business models and future-proof online solutions successfully implemented with Drupal.
On Saturday and Sunday the presentations are mostly in English and address Drupal technicians. The seminar will also be a meeting of the Drupal community. Themes of the day include: site building, coding, theming, Contribution, etc. Most of the presentations have a connection with commerce, but there are also common Drupal scheduled presentations.
Location
The event will take place at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences. At Lucerne University we have access to several auditoriums which are fully equipped with the necessary technical infrastructure. There is canteen for those who wish to dine. In addition, there is the provision of an expansive lounge where exhibitors can present their Drupal services throughout the day.

Looking for helping hands!
We are still looking for volunteers to assist us in the conference. To help us make the event a success. All volunteers have free entry to all three days as well as free meals.
We are looking for helpers in the following areas:
- Technology (microphone, projector, etc)
- Information booth (ticket sale, answer questions from participants, etc)
Since the conference is bilingual, the ideal helpers would speak German and English.
In principle one is a helper for 1 day, this can be done either in one piece or divided in two half-days.
